The Hollyford Track Part II

Arrival at Hokuri Hut, a whopping 24 meter elevation from sea level. We should have brought supplemetal O2 with us;)


A break from the rain.


A second day of tramping, and another group of 3 wire bridges to cross, some were more vertically challenging than others.


Arrival at Demon Trail Hut, we were pretty soaked from the ever present rain and the gushing streams that turned into rivers and spent the first hour ringing out our clothes.


In the early evening, the clouds cleared a little and exposed the beautiful mountain range.
