Buller Hospital - where we worked

This is the front entrance to Buller Hospital which primarily consists of the A&E where we spent a good deal of time over the 3 months we worked in Westport. There are also a few beds for minor inpatient admissions as well as a nursing home.

This is the front entrance to the surgery where we worked Monday through Friday and sometimes an extra clinic on Saturday or Sunday if we were on call.

This was Rina's exam room.

This was Rob's exam room.

This is the waiting room where we would often find patients chatting with their friends or neighbors as they were waiting to be called back. Since Westport is such a small town, everyone knows everyone for the most part and a visit to the doctor's office is just another place to socialize.
