Abel Tasman Sea Kayaking Part II

Paddling to our next destination, Mosquito Bay.

We arrived to Mosquito Bay at low tide, and since it was winter and the only way to get to this destination is by boat, we had the place all to ourselves. Sweet as.

The beach looks totally deserted, but there are heaps of little sandflies about.

Another great, sunny day.

We're still all smiles at this stage on arrival at Mosquito Bay. The following day, which was the third and final day of this trip, we had a turn for the worst weather wise. We had to face strong winds and seas, and if we weren't both paddling flat out, the kayak would move backwards. So we cut the trip short and called for a water taxi to pick us us at Anchorage Bay.
